TERMS & CONDITIONS & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
1. Scope of Service
1.1 The Collectors Workshop LLC Concierge Service is a non-invasive, inspection-only service carried out at the Client’s residence or designated storage location.
1.2 The service includes visual inspections, basic operational checks, and reporting only, as outlined in the selected service package.
1.3 No mechanical repairs, adjustments, dismantling, or component replacements are performed on-site under this service.
2. Nature of Inspection
2.1 All inspections are basic, visual, and non-intrusive in nature and do not constitute a full mechanical diagnosis or roadworthiness certification.
2.2 The Concierge Service does not replace scheduled servicing, manufacturer maintenance, or specialist inspections.
2.3 Findings are based solely on observable conditions at the time of inspection and may not identify latent, internal, or developing faults.
3. Vehicle Starting & Operation
3.1 Vehicle starting is performed only where deemed safe and appropriate by the technician.
3.2 The Collectors Workshop reserves the right not to start or operate a vehicle if there is a risk of damage, safety concern, or inadequate operating conditions.
3.3 The Client acknowledges that starting vehicles which have been stored or unused carries inherent risks beyond the control of The Collectors Workshop.
4. Battery & Electrical Checks
4.1 Battery checks are limited to voltage and basic condition assessment only.
4.2 Jump-start assistance, where offered, is provided solely at the Client’s request and risk, and only if deemed safe by the technician.
4.3 The Collectors Workshop shall not be liable for battery failure, electrical faults, or related damage resulting from age, degradation, or pre-existing conditions.
5. Tyres & Pressures
5.1 Tyre inspections are visual only and include pressure correction where applicable.
5.2 The service does not include tyre removal, balancing, alignment, or repair.
5.3 The Collectors Workshop is not responsible for tyre failure due to age, internal deterioration, flat spotting, or structural defects not visible at the time of inspection.
6. Fluids & Leaks
6.1 Fluid level checks are limited to accessible reservoirs only.
6.2 No fluid replacement, or flushing will be performed on-site.
6.3 Any leak identification is observational and does not guarantee detection of all leaks or future failures.
7. Reporting & Recommendations
7.1 Following each visit, the Client will receive a Concierge Vehicle Report summarizing observations and recommendations.
7.2 Recommendations are advisory only and do not obligate The Collectors Workshop to perform subsequent repairs unless separately agreed.
7.3 Failure to act on recommendations may increase the risk of vehicle damage, for which The Collectors Workshop bears no responsibility.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 The Collectors Workshop shall not be held liable for:
- Pre-existing faults or wear
- Latent or concealed defects
- Mechanical, electrical, or electronic failures
- Loss of vehicle value
- Consequential or indirect damages
8.2 Liability, if any, shall be strictly limited to the value of the Concierge Service fee paid for the specific visit.
8.3 Under no circumstances shall The Collectors Workshop be liable for loss of use, loss of enjoyment, or investment depreciation.
9. Client Responsibilities
9.1 The Client confirms:
- Legal ownership or authorization to service the vehicle
- Accurate disclosure of vehicle condition and storage history
- Safe access to the vehicle and surrounding area
- Client takes responsibility of permissions and approvals from concerned authorities or security personnel at client location
10. Access & Environment
10.1 The Client must provide:
- Safe access to the vehicle
- Adequate lighting and ventilation
- A hazard-free working environment
10.2 The Collectors Workshop reserves the right to suspend or terminate service if conditions are unsafe.
11. Memberships & Scheduling
11.1 Membership visits must be used within the contract period and are non-transferable.
11.2 Missed or cancelled visits with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited.
11.3 The Collectors Workshop reserves the right to reschedule due to force majeure, technician availability, or safety concerns.
12. Force Majeure
The Collectors Workshop shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural events, governmental actions, or access restrictions.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with jurisdiction in the Emirate of Dubai.
14. Acceptance
By booking or utilizing the Concierge Service, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions and Liability Disclaimers in full.
